Hi, just found this site and need some advice.
I would like to use my existing front lawn to park my touring caravan on. I'm thinking of having a concrete slab o/laid with used 450x450x30 slabs from our old patio.
I've had some quotes but with varying build ups, one says 150mm type1 then bed slabs on 50mm cement, another says 150mm type1 then 100mm concrete laid dry, then slabs straight on top then sprayed to set off, last so far is 150mm stiff concrete with slabs bedded straight on top.
This is on Kent clay by the way but as we are pretty high up with good drainage we have never suffered from any subsidence. Is there a best choice from those or are they OTT? Not good specs?
Thanks
Peter
