Hi all great site lots of info.

But i have a question i have my back garden levelled and part sub based for new flags and edgings to go down. My garden slopes down slightly from the house to the back gate. What i would like to know is should i lay my edgings level or running with the slope which is only slightly over the line of a level but for obvious reasons the flags cant be level as they would end up higher than the back pathway.

Thanks jamie

Are these edgings for the paving? If so, they need to be flush with the paving or have a consistent, uniform upstand, so they will slope to match the fall on the paving.

Sorry should of been more specific the edgingings are scalloped top so there is no need to be flush with top of pavers
