Hi. Do you know if it is common to do a 5mm mortar gap wit indian sandstone. The brochure for this product explains 3 to 5mm gap but everywhere i look and read people are doing 10mm gaps?? Any help would be appreciated?

If it's sawn/polished sandstone then fine but the riven sandstone would need the 10mm joint.
