I am new to this forum so please excuse me if I have posted my topic incorrectly. I am starting a patio project and would like to check my understanding about the levels & fall I should incoporate into the layout. In short the patio will be on the side of my house with a measurement of 10m from front to back of the house and 4m wide. At present I am planning to incoporate the fall towards a drainage point which I have estimated will be 17.5cm lower than the highest patio point but not sure whether this is correct. I have a diagram which probably explains this better but not sure how to add this to this post. Any guidance would be much appreciated. Graham

1:60 fall. Go to the noticeboard at top of main page for directions on posting photo's. Good luck

Thanks Sean, I have currently worked on a 1:80 fall so may have to amend my calculations.

not more than 1:60 not less than 1:90

all depends on the paving

if it is hand riven 1:60 is more suitable

if it is smooth 1:90 would work
