Playbark / woodchip over concrete? - Would this be possible?  drainage?

Setts and cobbles, tarmac, asphalt, resin systems, concrete whether it's plain, patterned or stencilled, gravels, etc.

Hi
I would like to create a play area in a corner of the garden for my kids. It is approx 3 metres by 2.5 metres and has a gentle slope (about 25 cm difference) to the back of the garden where there is a low wall and fence. It is completely covered by concrete with a stoney sort of base - the two together measure about 5 inches deep.
Could I cover this area with a thick layer of play bark (at least 30cm) or would the concrete cause it to rot. Also does anyone know where I might source palybark or woodchip? I am in East Kent near Canterbury.

Many thanks if anyone has any ideas.

Aslong as the concrete surface drains away to a fall freely then I'd assume you'd have no problems Rachel :)

I guess playbark/chip only has a certain lifespan anyway, being an organic product.
