Hello

I am new to this forum after reading a number of helpful articles on the website.

I am in the process of power washing and will then begin re-pointing an existing patio at my house that was re-laid about 5 years ago. It is approx 35m2 and is concrete slabs that are approx 60cm * 60cm, I am unsure what type of patio sealer to use and I am hoping someone can help.

I am a relatively inexperienced DIY'er in Solihull (West Midlands). A friend recommended Paveseal and someone else I know has used Everbuild.

I do have a picture of the patio but not sure how to include it in this post.

Any help much appreciated.

Thanks

Matt

Why do you need to seal the paving?

Hello

I was mainly thinking of sealing to help protect it and help keep it cleaner, a large part of the patio does not get much sun so suffers from moss.

Have a look at the shortlist and see which you think best suits your needs and tastes.

For legal reaons, I will not recommend any particular sealant for any particular job unless I've assessed the work for myself. This is all thanks to some git suing me on the basis that the sealant I suggested (he says recommended) allegedly ruined his patio.
