Hi all

Great little community you seem to have going here.

I'm not a "Paving Expert" myself, far from it actually, but I hope to use the knowledge of many on here, if that's OK? I'm a landlord that's often on the lookout for garden and driveway improvements for my properties and any tips will be greatly appreciated!

I've been looking into the possibility of getting some Kandla Grey Paving and wondered if anyone has any experience with this type. Is it hard-wearing, does it stain easily etc.?

Any information at all can help.

Thanks in advance

yes IMHO it is one of the better budget indian sandstones for hardness and being resistant to abuse
I am a landlord too and I avoid patios as if they have a patio next thing they will be having BBQs and garden parties :;):

Kandla Grey, along with *genuine* Raj Green, is just about the best Indian sandstone for our climate. Much harder than Mint; more naturalistic 'British' colouriung than Modak; nowhere near as offensive as Rainbow or Teak.

In line with LLL's thinking, you might be tempted to spend as loittle as possible on a 'frivolous' patio for undeserving tenants, but you can actually get good Kandla Grey for less than the cost of concrete 3x2s!
