Thinking of laying 22mm yellow limestone patio. Probably a good bit of cutting as it's slotting into sunken patio with non square sides. Also probably doing it over many days so hiring con saw not gonna be cost effective. Was wondering if any old angle grinder would do the job and if 4.5" would suffice?
Thanks

Also...
The area is about 10m (largely along wall of house) x 5m away from house.
So gonna try a little slope in the 5m direction.
But if I were to do it in stages on screed bedding would i be better doing 5m slices each sloping high to low, or in 10m slices that are relatively flat (hope that makes sense)

most blokes on here use a stihl type cut off saw
TS410 is the best with a diamond blade and water suppression
you would be best setting up 2 profiles 5 metres long and running your courses between these
obviously with around a 1:65 fall
a 9 inch electric grinder is just about doable but 4.5inch is too small really mate

Buy 2nd hand stihl saw, use it, sell for same price you bought it.

Do you mean doing it in 2 sections 5x5 each?

no have 2 profiles I.E an ally straightedge or such 5.5m long each end of the patio at finished height
then run your string line between these at say 610mm intervals for 600mm flags
