What to use next to old crazy paving - Advice required!

Hello,
We need to pave an area, about 18 sq m, in close proximity to a similar size area of old existing crazy paving, which we can't afford to replace.
The old crazy paving is fairly smooth and light grey, with a slightly flaky surface, and may possibly be blue lias? It apparently came from a Somerset quarry.
We are considering using either Bradstone Old Town paving in grey, or one of the Indian Sandstones, although some of the colours look too bright and modern. We would like it to look old and weathered, and wondered if tumbled sandstone may be suitable. There are some old Somerset brick garden walls close by, and our garden is generally old and cottagey-looking. The paved area will be the main way into our house, so will be heavily used on foot.
We would really welcome advice on which stone to choose (or even whether to try to crazy-pave it?) and also on where best to buy it from (at a reasonable price, as we are on a very limited budget) in the Somerset area. Ideally, we would like to look at the stone before buying it, if anyone can recommend a good supplier nearby.
Any advice, hints and tips or suggestions would be very welcome.

Thanks for the reply.
Have taken a few pictures on the iPad, but not sure how to add them to this post.
I know what you mean about not having a mismatch of different paving, but not sure what else we can do - can't afford to replace all the crazy paved area, and we also have crazy paving paths throughout the garden as well - all in different types of stone!
Will keep trying to get an image up on here.
