My next 2 projects are indian stone patios. I've never done any laying on a full wet bed at this time of year and I'm a little worried about the higher risk of frost and heavy rain.

Anyone got any tips on how to prevent the bed from blowing?

We don't lay anything if its going to drop below 5 degree's, like already mentioned cover your work with Hessian its less than £40 for a roll

Thanks lads. I do that with brickwork but didn't know it would work with flags as they're spread across the ground so would be more suseptable.

old (or new) carpet offers a good deal of protection, but can be awkward to manage on site, an expensive if you haven't got some knocking around.
