Hi all, I have recently moved into a property where the garden was very overgrown. I had a mini digger in and turned the garden over completely, turfed most of it and am in the process of gravelling the rest.

I have bark running down one side of the garden also. I pulled a lot of paving slabs ( good quality, older, big slabs ) out of the garden and have been thinking what to do with them. In the garden there is a greenhouse base built out of breeze blocks, I have dumped soil in it from the digger but have a skip on route with which I am dumping a lot of it. I was thinking of levelling the soil to the top of the breezeblocks and laying flags over the top to create a raised paving area for a bbq and my chimenea.

Its around 2.5 meters by 5 meters.

Any advice on the best way to go about this would be most helpful!!! I havent a clue what to put under the flags, if I can flag over the raised breezeblocks etc.
