Hi there. I have just moved into a new house and there are what seem to be a type of slate slab used for the front path. It seems that drainage is an issue as water stands on it for quite some time and it is ridiculously slippery.

I have two queries. One - is there a product out there I can apply to improve grip? The postman keeps falling over! And two, is it as simple as drilling holes in the grout to improve drainage?

Thanks

There are some grits you can apply onto a rsin. I think because of your drainage problem you need to lift them and put a fall in the path, possibly something more suited to a patio. NO, drilling holes won't solve your problem.
