We have started constructing a gravel drive by digging to a depth of about 15cms and putting down a lining. We were then wrongly advised by a DIY centre that we could just fill it with gravel. It is now difficult to walk on and we wouldn't even try parking a car on it! We have been told that compacting it wouldn't work.
Is there any rescue anyone could suggest that doesn't involve digging out all the gravel?
Many thanks
