Hi all
great site and would appreciate any responses
Blockpaved the front of the house using quarry dust as a sub base ,it is similar to 5mm down and everyone round here seems to use it
Had loads left and took it to the other areas and spead it all out to make the area cleaner (two years ago)as i was intending to blockpave but now change of mind i am looking at Bradstone panache paving 40mm 450 x450 on a sizeable area but can i lay cement on top of this dust if it is whackered down or should i put some 20mm stone and wacker this in
In the dry you can walk on it and it doesnt leave footprints but ladder etc sinks in to some of the 100mm depth
In relation to the bradstone panche can i lay 10 to 1 mix on top of the dust with a min say 3mm joint and then fill the joint with a drymix or suitable material
Was thinking of the textured panache but have lots of trees and dont want to clean them all the time so maybe the ground smooth would be better but then again this may bring its own probs in the winter
Thanks all
