Hi Guys, a bit of help please. Been looking to pave 50+ metres and had virtually settled on a Bradstone limestone. We went in to order for delivery this week when my wife spotted Marshall's Fairstone.... so it has to be sawn sandstone! My only issue is the price as the lowest I can get for is a tad over £50 inc vat.
Has anyone had any experience of either MR International or Seahawes? Prices are within my original budget but not too sure if I am comparing chalk and cheese.
Any thoughts, advice, constructive criticism or beer gratefully received.
Cheers
Stu

No experience with either of them but that is a good price for fairstone.
Check out some alternatives here from a reputable supplier too:

I remember once that I had to write to one of those companies because not only were they using our images but they had also copied our website text word for word. As Stewart and Mick both say, that's a good price for Fairstone. Your going to have to look at this patio for the next 20 odd years. Stretch the budget a bit and go with the product that you want (fairstone) and the supplier you feel confident with. The fact that you have to ask the question, should tell you the answer. When it comes to stone, you get what you pay for

Thanks Mick, thanks Steve for your replies. The problem we have is that locally we have little to choose from beyond a couple of builders merchants and some small garden centres. Display wise there seem to be a few 4x3 boards of their popular (stock) ranges. Not particularly inspiring! We know nothing about paving beyond the fact that we know what we like.
To be fair the the best price for Marshall's Fairtrade is from TPs but as prices vary by 50%+ between them and other suppliers we can only assume that similar differentials apply to other stone paving - hence the request for company feedback...
