Hello,
Apologies if this question has been asked already, I had a look but couldn't see anything similar.
I'm about to lay a 45msq patio. I'm replacing an area which was covered with about 3tonnes of 20ml pea gravel, which I haven't been able to sell/ give away. The sub base to that is a mixture of whacked crushed brick, tile, rubble, sand, mud.
If I have to, I will skip the gravel, but I was wondering if I could use it for a sub base, if it was blinded with sand or a sand/ cement mix? I intend to lay a slab similar to the millstone from stone market.
Any feed back would be very welcome.
Thanks

you could happily mix it with type 1 MOT as long as it was at least 60% MOT

Or you could make it up with sand and cement into a semi-dry lean concrete.

Trying to simply lay it down and blind it with anything will be a fail.

Thanks R896neo, I'll mix it with the sand& cement then. Shame to waste it if it can be used.
Cheers
