Hi Folks

I have nearly successfully completed a project with some charcoal coloured Flowpoint jointing. However, I have a small section that is still outstanding and I have run out. I was a bit too generous/wasteful for the first 1 1/2 bags which has left me running short for 2m square section of patio.

The bags themselves are not expensive, but the postage (regardless of size of order) is extortionate, so if anyone has a proportion of a bag left over spare they would sell me that would solve a problem plus postage? I need about 2/5 of bag complete the project.

Or if anyone knows where I can get a full bag in the Essex/Suffolk area without a £40 postage fee????

PM me.

Regards

Did you get any response? One of the East Angular commerical paving outfits might be a likely source.

Unfortunately not Tony. I got it from Jewsons previously after Instarmac said they were a stockist - rarely so it seems as I got stung for the £40 postage. Still looking...

I'm not familiar with Instarmac's distribution network. I know they supply from their base in Tamworth, but I had assumed they also had other suppliers and/or depots dotted around the country.

Years and years ago, back in the mists of time when I was contracting, I could get Instarmac's comparatively limited product range direct from my local independent BM. Back then, it was primarily to mac-in-a-sack repair stuff and a cheaper version of the Ronacrete rapid set mortar for fixing ironwork in the carriageway, so I just assumed they had continued to have that same distribution model.

I shall put it on my list of questions for the next time the deign to talk to me (which always seems to coincide with when *they* want summat, whereas my general enquiries usually get ignored, probably because I don't buy owt)
