doing a small patio this week in harvest sawn

usually i would wait till the warm weather and seal

but knowing how easily sawn paving can get dirty I wonder is it worth using 1 coat of sealer the day before in the dry?

probably use lithofin MN stainstop

cheers LLL

Don't London stone offer that as a service? So they would be delivered already sealed.

yeah i see that on the sales order but may be too late now
I know how dirty sawn paving can get and dont want to risk sealing when laid at this time of the year
looks like its the sponge and bucket of sealer in the garage :)

But can you be sure the stone has a low enough moisture content before you daub them with sealant?

If you can get them indoors, well spaced, with good air circulation for at least a couple of days, then maybe they will be ok, but one of the problems at this time of year, when the temps are low, is that moisture doesn't always make itself apparent.

I wonder if one of them wall damp meter yokes would be any use?
