Hello. First time poster here!

I have what I believe is close jointed patio slabs (see pic) as defined on this site here.

I want to re-joint them but I'm a little confused what I should use. I think, from reading on this site, it should be just dry sand. Is that correct or should I be using sand/cement mix? If I use the latter could it stain my slabs (by the way, can anyone identify the type of stone from the pic - sandstone??)?

look like reconstituted slabs

I.E. saxons or bradstones

just clean allow to dry for 3 days then sweep kiln dried sand in the cracks
