Can anyone offer any advise? We have a flagged patio the slabs of which are spaced to allow for an infill of small pebbles. It looks nice (when pebbles are all brushed up!) but we have young children and the chore of keeping the pebbles tidy is tiresome. We have just been out to a nearby park and I saw some pebbles there 'glued' down somehow so they can not be kicked, picked up etc. Does anyone know what this might have been done with? It makes the pebbles look a bit shiny and wet but it is set very hard and might be a good solution. Thanks :)

You need a resin bound aggregate.

We make one called Ronadeck Tree Pit since it is most often applied around the base of tree pits to protect the roots, and trunk, and prevent build up of dirt, dog poo, needles, fag ends.

It's supplied as a resin which is mixed with pebbles and laid like a concrete, minimum width is 25mm, min. depth is 50mm. The base needs to be either concrete, mortar or 50mm of compacted gravel.

If you want more information see Ronadeck Tree Pit System, or give us a call.
