I have a choice of which to stock. Ignoring the price, which is the preferred option?
McMonagles have stopped doing Rompox

I would value preferences from both Pros and DIYers.
Thanks

Of those 2 I have only used Rompox, still wary of single part polymers though, given the choice I would use either 2 part resin or mortar mixed myself.

I used it on a couple of indian sandstone jobs a few years ago largely because of tobermore's recommendation.

It is still there but is very grubby looking.

Now using Rompox D1

Thanks for the replies.
What I am trying to find out is which one to stock.
Must be suitable to both Pros and DIYers.
Or recommend something else.
I understand that a 3 to 1 mixed troweled in is probably the best, but is not suitable to a DIYer.
Price is also important.

A few people on here seem to rate marshalls weatherpoint 365. If i had to stock one it would probably be that.

Also maybe steve at london stone could chime in as i think they sell easyjoint.

Where are you higgness?

easyjoint has been good for me reasonably priced and have had no problems/comebacks at all ???

McMonagles are stocking a new product, Joint-Ex I think it is or will be called. Michael rates it very highly but I've not had a chance to pplay with it yet. Given that they are one of the largest paving distributors in Ireland, they are hardly likely to lend their name to anything that isn't at least as good as the Romex. More news on this is promised, but just when that promise will be delivered is uncertain.

Davy Crawford, who did the distribution of Romex products in PRC and the rest of Ireland, is, AFAIK, still flogging the Romex in partnership with the Natural Stone Yard near Ashbourne (the one in Co. Meath, not the one in Derbyshire!)

And then there's Martin Fox up in Oranmore selling his Joint-It which has had mixed reviews so far but again, I've not had the opportunity to try it for myself.
