Well, I've decided to seal the drive and garden. Both hold 60m2+.
Ive got the drive done, nice run of dry weather and it was down
Now I'm just about to seal the garden ,but rain is due in 12 hours and on and off for the next week or so. As the paving is bone dry, would I get away with sealing if rain comes tomorrow AM at 6?
If I dont, its either going to be drying out, or about to get a shower.
How do you do it in the UK?? There must be a month of clear weather either side of a jetting off to seal. The rest of the time it must be frosty, wet, snow, ice etc etc :D :D

Oh, its a polyurethane sealer. The drive took two days to dry off completely

Don't risk it hp, it needs more time to cure. If it was 12 hours on a baking hot day you could chance it, but not overnight

Ta,LSP.
The specs are a bit vague on cure times. How does anyone make money on cleaning and sealing?
It seems to be nigh on impossible. If you look at the forecast for the next ten days, its sunny, but not enough time to seal a sausage

This is getting right on my tits now. Garden filled with IKEA furniture now residing on the lawn ,hoping for a break in the weather long enough to seal. No flipping chance.
If you're sealing professionally, do you sheet it up whilst you seal?
I think I had the only 2 day window in the whole year to do the driveway, its looking like I'm going to have to wait till Spring for the next to do the rear patio. Even then, I can't do it all in one go as I have to wait for the walkway to dry before continuing. Looooooooong job

Best to seal prior to laying if possible. That way, you get it out of the way annd you can crack on with the job with no hold ups. Obviosuly thats no use to you now :)

You should be ale to put your second coat on after 20 minutes. Get some of those polythens things to go over your shoes and you can walk on it no probs
