Hi,

I believe that the product Rompox Easy and is just what I am looking for after reading good reports this site, however the product specification indicates not being suitable for beveled slabs ( V ). I attach photos of my slabs that are slightly angled on the edges form top to bottom, the depth of the slab is about 30 mm and the width well over 5mm. they are not all fully butted together I have just cleaned out the old mortar as can be seen in attached photos and ready to order.

Your advice of this product for my garden path would be greatly appreciated.

Thanking you in advance for your help with this.

I think the reason they don't recommend it for bevel-edged flags is that it can be difficult to get the mortar out of the recess, and all too often, bevel-edged or chamfered flags are laid either close- or butt-jointed. which means the joint is too narrow for any sort of mortar.

There's no technical reason not to use it with such flags, as long as the joint is wide enough and deep enough. However, I'd look at using one of the slightly better products from the Romex range, such as the D!. The costs is about the same but the product is far superior.
