I am just in the process of cleaning my patio and I need to repoint it before I seal it. The person who laid the slabs looks like he used sand but that becomes loose every time you wash it.

Any ideas and help this will be my first time.

Thanks

remove all the sand or pointing and continue cleaning all of the paving and then replace using Marshalls Weatherpoint 365, its a brush in product what can be used even if its raining, dries rock hard normally in a couple of days (depending on the temperature)

Mick, that marshalls weatherpoint is rarer than hens teeth it seems. Tried to get some of travis rip off, and they had not heard of it, despite being marshalls dealers.
Since they are the only ones round here, we gave up and used easijoint, which is the same product, but cheaper.
No wonder nobody round here is a marshalls installer!

Bigger tps carry it and at good price, likely dan if you haven't got an account with them and do a fair bit with them they'd fob you off.

They are annoying though, they've got a new big megastore style one in Macclesfield carrying everything inc a fair bit of civils. Vitrius clap upto 300mm etc

Natalie who used to be at Wilmslow is there now ask Flowjoe ;) also a good day cheer up having a little flirt with nat when you popped in, but the other day I ordered 10 sheets of a393 mesh when I got the bill it was £880 I rang up and played hell they'd not applied our discount was re invoiced at £340, gotta watch them.

I dunno what it is Giles but down south TP dont seem to want the business
Jewsons who were historically expensive are getting on the ball with their pricing

Got account with TP and Jewsons, both used to do my box in. Pick up anything off the shelf and discount wasn't applied so you were paying 5x the price.
Had to get a quote for materials from them for every job in writing then use that to get the price changed because they billed me wrong every time.

For us DIYers TP are feckin useless overpriced twats.
You get better service and it's cheaper at B&Q.
I'm not say B&Q service is good just better than TP.

I've never forgiven TP from buying out my local friendly BM's, dumbing it down and putting even dumber security guards at the door. Prices are just laughable for us without accounts.
I doubt if I'd go there even if they were reasonably priced.

Grrrrr rant over :D
