We've never had any issues with our stone getting damaged by frost. What's blue Indian sandstone by the way?

Try finding out what the stone is, supplier should know. It will be absolutely fine, but if your spending the best part of £500, its worth doing your homework

Its quite cheap, but this doesn't mean it will be no good. The Indian sandstone market is competitive and very price driven. If you can let me know what the stone is I can tell you what characteristics to look out for

This is too cheap.
Like Steve says, this may not mean that the stone is not good.
At €15.00 per m2 does this include vat?
Check the quality of the stone in the yard, see if you can pick the stone yourself.
Ask if you can pay on delivery, just in case.
Have heard of frost and problems with Kota Blue Limestone.
I supply paving in Ireland, but this is way to cheap.
PM me if you need more help.

Its not been established what the stone is yet. If it is kota blue, I have never experienced any frost problems with it and I sell approx 15 containers of it per year. The only problem I have ever seen with Kota blue is when people have used acid to clean it with, then its completely knackered.

Also its best to do your diligence first on the quality because even if the stone that turns up is rubbish, you might end up having a row with the supplier when you tell him you have changed your mind. Save yourself the trouble and do some research into what your buying first :)
