Hi,

I have some patios and paths to lay around the house. I have got the slabs (Indian sandstone Raj colour) from Marshalls. I have had them for a couple of years. I was thinking of using some of the Marshalls drivesett tegula traditional 120x160 to use as a boarder.
(I have been offered the tegula at £8m, clearance price).

Do you think the tegula traditional would look ok with the raj Indian sandstone? Am thinking of using it as an edge and maybe a curved path linking two paved areas.

Cheers

Jon

I dont like it, too similarin colour, i like a border to contrast, a dark border works well with the raj. I believe the paving experts stand is that natural stone and concrete products dont mix well over time but personally i dont agree.

I don't like to mix artificial coloured concrete products with natural stone. It just never seems to work well.

The concrete products which don't rely on artificial colouring, such as the Argent suggested by LLL or StoneMaster from Bradstone/Charcon, are a bit more forgiving, but manufactured colour never seems to fare well when laid against natural colour.

I wouldn't bother you took 3 years to even consider a boarder by the time you lay them the colour would have faded ;~)
