I have an old patio with concrete slabs and 2.5cm wide black slate strips in between. The strips are manufactured by Woolliscroft England. Some of the strips are broken. Anybody know if I can still buy these? Otherwise what is the best way to fill these joints?

almost certainly they are some kind of wall or floor tile detail that was left over and used for this unusual inset
you can either
a leave them
b dig them out and repoint
c buy some slate tiles and cut them to size
re: repointing either sand and cement or an epoxy mortar
will do the trick

I'm guessing that, because a name or other text is etched/moulded into the underside, these are not natural slate but some "reconstituted" product that may only have been available locally.
Many building products manufactured before 1960 had a rather limited local or regional distribution due to the releatively high cost of carting heavy materials great distances. That's why we had so many local flagstone (BS type) manufacturers 50 years ago, whereas today we have three of any significance.
You know the name, so I'd focus a search on that, possibly use SalvoWeb to help find a yard that has some old stuff in stock, but as far as I'm aware, there's nothing matching or similar available 'off-the-shelf' nowadays.
