Wall under patio edge

What do we think is an adequate foundation for the wall under the edge of my patio, given it's probably only 4 courses high including what is under the surface?

I would go 300mm minimum but the deeper the better.

300mm concrete on soil?

300 wide and 100 mm deep of concrete will suffice
but the trench needs to be 300 deep if that makes sense
