Has anyone had any experience with the EasyJoint compound? Considering having this used with our new polished rainbow sandstone patio when its laid.
Difficult to find reviews anywhere online!

rainbow sandstone is very porous so you need to absolutely soak the patio prior to using easyjoint or any of the sweep in poitning compounds.
The point of soaking is that the paving becomes so waterlogged that it cant take in any more water, so it wont then absorb any of the resin from the easyjoint.
Easypoint will give a quick job but wont last as long as standard cement products

Thanks for the response!
We were hoping to avoid the traditional concrete pointing as we are a bit worried about staining of the sandstone. Some of the Gtfk product line look good (though expensive!).
Is it best to seal sandstone before laying?

If you are planning to seal I would always say that its best to seal before you lay. That way, its job done and you dont need to worry about it. Rainbow is very porous so you will need a fair wack of seal. Probarbly about 1 litre per 5m2 to get the job done properly.
Are you choosing rainbow because its cheap, or because you like the colour?

Ha, we like the style of it -> http://www.flickr.com/photos/simplypaving/6841092959/lightbox/
Will go ahead with the sealing beforehand. Thanks again!

haha. Its good that your buying it because you like it. A lot of people buy it because its very keenly priced.
Are you laying it yourself?

Think it was about £30/sqm we got it for, didn't think it was all that cheap
We aren't brave enough to lay it ourselves, a local friend/paver is getting it done in the next few weeks.

It is available much cheaper than that but you've done the right thing buying it from a reputable supplier.
Good luck with it
