Hi, just finished laying 30 sqM of 600X900X30 Silver Granite slabs using a 10mm joint.
I'm getting very confused with all the talk of polymeric sands and two part resins and sand & cement mortars for jointing please advise what will work the best. I'm very happy with how my DIY job has turned out and don't want to mess it up with poor finish. Thanks.

Disregard the Polymeric sands for a start they're useless so you now have 3 options normal 3:1 mortar 2 part resin like Gftk or Rompox D1 and ready mixed sand and cement mortars for injecting into the joint using a tool like a silicon gun. Your easiest but most expensive option is the 2 part stuff but your area is small so the price won't be prohibitive so I'd go with that. Personally I'd use normal sand and cement but the chances of making a mess are much higher. Both Gftk and Rompox offer similar colours and are about the same quality wise so go with whatever's cheapest.

Just realised you're in Dublin you can get the Rompox D1 from both McMonagle stone and Tobermore it's abourt £39 per 25kg. I've never found anyone who supplies the ready mixed mortars over here.
