As some of you will know, I've been running a series of trials with the new GapFast joint spacer over the summer and we are almost at the end. The manufacturer now has a T-shaped version of the spacer that allows it to be used with coursed layouts rather than the stack bond layouts favoured by the original +-shaped version.
So, now we need a trial pavement where we can photograph and video the new version being used and get some feedback from the installer. Virtually any pavement with regular joint widths could be suitable.
We're not bothered if it's a patio, a driveway or the centre of town. We're not bothered whether you are a paving contractor, a general builder/landscaper or a DIYer. We're not bothered whether you're using top-of-the-range decorative paving or simple 2x2s. All we need is an area of paving that needs to have regular 10mm joints.
As we are rapidly running out of what is laughingly decribed as a summer, we need a project as soon as possible. Next week would not be too soon.
If you think you might have summat suitable, get in touch NOW. PM, email or call me and I'll talk you through what we are planning to do.
