I have stupidly given our black limestone paving a wash with cleaner containing hydrochloric acid.
I know I have burnt the pavers but what to know whether a wet look sealer will hide the dis-colouration patches or would it be best to leave the paving unsealed until next spring to allow them to weather naturally.
Many thanks in advance for your reply.

You have damaged the surface and appling a sealer won't blend them back in. We work with this sort of problem all the time if you want to post some photos of the damage. I'll try to help.
