Hi

Hoping for a little advice

Just had natural stone paving laid. When dry it is extremely dusty and dull. When wet it looks great, the different colours shining through.
Looking for an inbetween scenario for when it is dry, rather than all the dust.
I purchased a broom and took to it with buckets of water and scrubbed away, thinking it would suffice. Not the case, it's dry again and back to being very dull :(

Any ideas are most welcome.

you could seal the patio. which would give a permenant wet look to the paving see this page : http://www.pavingexpert.com/sealants.htm

yep mark is bang on,but remember to apply the sealant you choose to a test area first in case you dont like it!!
some like matt, some like gloss, its a matter of taste, but remember the best stuff generally costs more but lasts longer
cheers LLL :)

andy you should never, ever, put brick acid near natural stone,it can react with minerals in the stone and change the colour
brick acid(hydrochloric acid) is highly corrosive and is best saved for getting mortar splashes off of walls and drives
i know exactly what the op means ,the paving just looks dull when dry
cheers LLL :)
