Hello All

I am going to be pointing with Easipoint soon, but to a free edge which slightly overshoots a low wall.

is there a profesional way of finishing the free edge? maybe some strong tape over the end gap and underneath to catch the easipoint (although not too sure how tape will hold with all the water required for easipoint)?

All suggestions greatly recieved

thanks

Ok i am starting to get very confused

for tight joints (5mm) and contemporary finish would I be better with easipoint or easyjoint (or how ever they are spelt)

as per the above post i was thinking about easyjoint which is a slurry, but if i can get easipoint and a nozzle small enough i could use that i suppose....

too much to think about......

thanks

I think you will struggle injecting mortar into a 5mm joint, but thats my opinion, i would go for a slurry like romex or gftk, never heard of easijoint!

easyjoint is manufactured by aspects and mine was supplied by London stone best to get in contact with Steve at London stone and to ask his advice I have used it on my patio and provided you follow the instructions to the letter as regards soaking with water it joints up really well.

used 8 bags of easipoint at the weekend . all depends what sort of finish you want . if you want a nice smooth trowelled finish use easipoint if you want a coarse finish use romex etc .easipoint goes off like iron.easy to use .
