after some unbiased advice from giles regarding geo fix brush in mortar ! ill be using romex easy, however i think i will need to seal the sandstone ( raj green ) i know you guys say its not strictly necessary but im a bit of a messy fella specially around the barbie, also we have heavy leaf fall in autumn, anyway to get to the point should i seal before pointing, after, or both or "get a life and go to the pub" !

seal it after the residue from the Easy has gone. Dry-Treat is known to be very good with fats/oils as it protects from the inside out.

You can buy a romex product which does not leave a residue One of the big problems with these products was that they left a residue so manafacturers started to offer a product which was made from natural oils as opposed to resin. Romex have introduced one of these natural oil products, so you can avoid the residue
