About 2 years ago whilst cleaning gloss paint from my brushes with white spirit I got splashes onto my Global natural stone sandstone flagstones. I stupidly did not realise how difficult they would be to remove and left them. I'm now cleaning the patio before sealing it with Lithofin Stainstop Plus (is this recommended?) and cannot remove the stains. I've tried a power washer, detergent and Nitromors, which have removed the top layer of the stains, but I cannot remove the stains that have obviously penetrated into the stone. My wife is not best pleased, and is threatening to remove certain parts of my anatomy if I don't successfully completely remove the stains, so help will be gratefully received!
