We've been supplying Easyjoint for the past six months. In the past we had tried both Resiply and romex but were not happy with the performance. The reason we were not happy with the two mentioned products is that they both leave a residue on the surface of the paving. We tested both products and found that regardless of what the manafacturers say, the residue stays visible for at least six months. Clients down here would not tolerate that and because of that reason we did not feel we could stand behind either product and push them to our clients.
Easyjoint is natural oil based as opposed to resin based and it leaves no sheen or residue.
Romex have responded to this with a product of their own which is also natural oil based and leaves no shine.
Going back to original question by Giles Easyjoint is a good product and I would certainly reccomend using it but the new product introduced by Romex is cheaper for us to buy as stockists and also contains 2.5kg extra in volume
