This maybe a silly question but i am going to lay sandstone paving but when i looked into the sizes they are all sizes that dont allow for the joints.Rock unique has been reccommended to me but the slabs all multiples of each other. For example 280,560,1120.This doesnt allow for the joints. How do youi get fairl even joints? I think sandstone looks better with 10mm joints but wont i start to lose the joints with these slab sizes?Any help would be greatly appreciated

LLL-Im a plasterer mainly.Do bits of other trades.only layed one sized flag stones before so not a problem. What i was saying was if there sizes are accurate ie 280,560,1120 it doesnt seem to work out for joints. Its like a brick is 215mm with the head being 102mm this allows for the joint.2 x280 =560 with no joint so i was wondering how its set out.Would you lay 80 metres dry first?

have a look at this page glenn
I know times are hard but plastering has very little in common with paving, except maybe screeding a bed for regular flags
280 560 and 1120 work fine but you have to make judgement calls
good luck
