hi

Great site!

Reading the guide it says "75mm compacted thickness of DTp1 or of 50mm crusher run" so when i order the dtp1 and i need a compacted depth of 75mm what thickness would i be looking at uncompacted approx? should i base my calcs for ordering corrct quantities on 100mm would that be enough to compact down to 75mm?

any advice appreciated

Roly

1 ton of limestone subbase will give you 2.2m3 compacted. you'd have to do the maths to calculate your volume based on m2 area and mm depth.

there is calculator on the website here. don't forget the dumpy/large bags brought from builders merchants can contain as little as 850Kg

Also depends what you're hitting the subase with! Whacker plate or twin drum roller?
