Hi, We were about to purchase filled, honed travertine paving slabs for our new patio until we read all the comments about it on this site. We are now considering Jura limestone instead. Has anyone had any problems with this stone? The Jura limestone we have seen had colour enhancer applied to it. What are the pros and cons of sealing the stones or using a colour enhancer?

Any comments/opinions would be much appreciated.

Thanks very much.

Jura is more commonly used as a walling stone, rather than a paving material. I have a feeling that I have seen it, somewhere, used for paving, and considered it to be too soft, but without digging out my notebooks from years ago, I can't recall the detail.

Where have you seen it and who's selling it?

Hi,

We saw it in the LondonStone display area.

Thanks
