Well after a week of half hours after work to clear the shrubs and rubbish etc the real patio work started in earnest today. Big skip in hand and compacter hired for a week I started to remove 27 m2 of old council flags 55mm thick. I have totally cleared the lot and tomo I will dig out for the hardcore that is sat waiting. I will post photos tomo but just wanted to pay gratitude to this site and forum for the advice and the confidence to take something like this on.
Good honest work is good for the diabetes control too!

AFAIK although it is life changing its not the end of it
my auntie went to the doctors 6 weeks ago with a sore throat feeling run down
he advised a diabetes test and "bang" shes type 1
4 days in hospital and on the jag full time now
mind you she had a bottle of wine ever day for starters after work sometimes 2
no disrespect to leedslad as i am sure there are others who have the condition without drinking at all
the main thing is with any condition is to make the best of it
i have had severe tinnitus for 14 years, but theres loads worse off than me
