Looking for some advice on sealing sandstone. In process of having a new patio laid of polished mint indian sandstone, keep getting conflicting advice!

Should I get the stones sealed or not? If yes any advice on which sealant. Gardener is going for MN Stainstop, the stone supplier is going for: Cementone’s Natural Stone Sealer.

Thank you.

is it my turn for a roasting today? :)

you all know exactly what i meant

I lay flags because its an add on to building work, and when i let others do it,it was crap.

I like a bit if variety at work so its digging ,concreting, demo,BWK, drives and patios, some roof tiling etc.

I have been laying bricks solid for the last 6 days and it takes me back to the old days of housebashing

it makes a change ,but come monday i have to hand dig a foundation in chalk, bad access shed and greenhouse too close to move :)

I dont mind what i do as long as its work and i get paid

in our game we have to diversify to survive. As long as we do it well, that's all that matters. I had a long run of work a few years back just putting right what others had messed up. A good all rounder is worth is weight...... :;):

Sorry thought this was a serious forum, not a chat room, asked a reasonable question to a problem, got one answer then the thred is taken over by chat. Thanks to the first reply.

hi liofin stain stop is the best on the market but paving must be very clean and 100 percent dry including bedding do what it says on the tin and you will be fine ps its not cheap its top end of the market .and we do like a bit of banter feel free to join in :p cheers cookie
