I am looking to build a patio extension at the same time as my extension and have a question that I very much hope someone can answer.
Whilst asthetics is important, so is my requirement for low maintenance! Unfortunately being on a north facing patio (SE England) I am expecting Algae / Moss etc. to be a constant battle.
Please could someone recommend a stone that is particularily good at resisting algae / mold / moss (I have heard that Porphyry is good and Natural stone poor?)? Alternatively would it be better to get the stone that we want and then apply a sealent / impregnator afterwards?
Thanks all!
