Hi all, with the info on this site I have laid a small patio area with a path leading to another patio area for the bins. I have used Marshall saxon natural. To point I used Sikapave plus buff.
I seem to have a stain around the outer edge where the sikapave is in the gaps. Its like a moist area all around the edge of the slab. Has the Sika caused this or (hopefully) is it simply the Sika curing and will go with time. Its about 3 days now since putting down

Thanks for the respnse, Im more concerned with what the building inspector says (the wife), she has the final say. The job was only supposed to be the bin stand but she liked the look of the flags and was concerned about the step (1 block down) so this then turned into the path that turned into the small patio. Now she is looking at the council greys that were down when we moved in with a dissaproving gaze.
Ill give it a few weeks and monitor.
Once again thanks.

Its on my garage and yes it is below the DPC but then the up and over door is flush with the floor on a concrete base as well so that probably wont make much difference. It was like that when we moved in.
I have found quite a few things that i have had to fix since moving in, steps built onto rear wall above DPC, Wiring under insulation, high amp to lower amp then back up again. Standard 3 core to garage with a terminal connection under the mud. The soil where the bin stand is was piled up behind a shed above the DPC, took a Midi skip full to get it away.
Ill post a pic up when i finish the lot. Wont be for a while (prob next year) as she has won the battle and the post earthquake style patio we currently have has got to go.
