how can i make a floating step either with granite or wood (sleeper or hardwood decking)

i think bodge means a movable step
i cant see why not bodge as long as it is safe when its in position

I really like the look of those steps, Darren. Can't help thinking the look could be improved slightly by removeing the pots from underneath though!
