We are thinking of getting our driveway sorted.

I would like to have it paved in a cobble style but 'She who must be obeyed' wants the Pattern Imprinted Concrete.

Now all of the PIC drives I have seen are very shiney and in my opinion doesn't look right.
Can you get PIC in a matt finish????

If I have to go the PIC route I want it to look as close to paving as possible.

Cheers.

I did a textured overlay on a concrete slab last year and bought a matt sealer from Creative Impressions (link above).

I would have preferred it to be more "matt" but it was certainly not as shiny as most PIC that you see. I applied it with a paint brush instead of a sprayer and was advised that if I had done it with a sprayer it would have been more "matt-like" as the coat would have been thinner and more uniform.

Most PIC professionals should have a sprayer so should be able to do a good matt finish for you.

Ask for a sample before you purchase is my advice.

Cool. Thats the answer I wanted.

I'll have to make sure they use Matt Sealer.

Thanks.
