I am paving to a concrete gravel board/fence (i.e thats one of the main edges).

Problem is that the level of my patio is going to be lower than the gravel board (i.e level with mud, and the gravel board is a few centires above it).

One of the things I could do is have a higher edge with my paving but what I prefer to do is put some of this enar the gravel board and then pave next to it.

How would you go about this? what would you put in between the wood and the edge of the paving?

The reason I want to use the wood is that I will have the same height problem further on down the garden where the lawn will be, and I think it owuld look nicer with the wood rather than just having a high piece of paving when there is no patio next to it (if that makes sense).

i think the bottom of the log panels has to be 10 mm above your paved height
