Hi
Could anyone help me. The link below is of some photos of a patio I constructed a few weeks ago. At first there was a white residue on them but that seems to come off with washing. But it keeps coming back it places, any ideas what it is and how to get rid of it?
The slabs are Stonemarket Zephr ( marble)
Thanks very much Nick

looked at pix it looks exactilly like efforesence, there is nothing you can do about it it will come and go and go in its own good time, most manufactures have a disclaimer about in there catalouges ,no point in trying to wash it away,
Years ago a client took me to court over it, i won hands down with cost's due to the disclaimer in the manufactures guides,

Mate I think there is a small space in the corner of that patio where you could possibly fit another item of garnish:laugh:. Whether it's normal or not it is effo and it's a waiting game till it resolves itself. What kind of mortar did you use and did you plasticise it with fairy liquid etc and was the mix or the weather very wet when it was installed.
Can't see it from my house
