Forgive me if this question has been asked before but I have just had approx 250m2 of natural stone paving laid by my chlorinated swimming pool. My paver has suggested that I seal it to stop staining but he does not have the time to do this at present. He has recommended a product called Aqua seal. Does anyone know about this product and its suitability. How do I best apply a sealer (someone suggested a roller to me) and how long before it must be reapplied?
Also I read about a joint compound sealer is this advisable?

Hi Janette your best bet would be to contact the likes of the technical dept at Lithofin they are a very reputable sealant manufacturer and should have something suitable for you. Joint compound ? what sort of paving do you have and what is it laid on and jointed with.

A couple of points, if you have used a real stone paver - not pigment coloured concrete, you need only seal if you prefer a wet look paver. If your pool is salt chlorinated, the copings (stones at edge of the pool might be susceptible to erosion. generally we would seal concrete coloured copings in this case, and it would have to be an upmarket sealer, providing some kind of UV protection. Most the normal sealers break down within 6 months and the copings need to be resealed. Your natural stone pavers, can you be more specific? I also think your builder MIGHT be avoiding the sealing issue because of the possible problems. Also depending on what the pavers are laid on, it might be worth your while to wait at least a month or two to allow all trapped moisture to evaporate.
