Setts and cobbles, tarmac, asphalt, resin systems, concrete whether it's plain, patterned or stencilled, gravels, etc.

i have layed loads of blocked paved drives and had no complaints can i lay 600x600 flags in the same manner inc the rubber wacker plate over the top of the flags . they are 50mm marshalls ???

lay the 2X2s on a semi dry bed of 10-1 sharp sand cement mix and dont wacker them, they will just break, i think even with a rubber cover they will still break as they probs wont be able to cope with the force from the waker.

dont use the wacker plate, use the maul to consolidate slabs.

i had to repair a school hopscotch thingy in marshalls heritage "calder brown" today
i have laid so much sandstone lately (which you can really thump with the mallet) that i broke 2 (£8.50 ea)
i then went back to the BM got another 2 then broke 1 of these as well !!!!
most wet pour slabs just wont hack it on a drive ,and if you wack them,well get ready for crazy paving
